Habitat for Humanity South Sarasota County is proud to announce our partnership with Venice Presbyterian Foundation with a gift of $200,000 to kick off our community Faith Build.

We believe our faith should bring us together to surround families in need with prayer, guidance, and love. Our mission is to build safe, affordable housing with the interfaith community and it comes from a desire to put God's love into action. Habitat for Humanity South Sarasota County is part of a global, non-profit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God's love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope.

Faith Build is an opportunity to live out your church's ministry, engage your members and see the miracle that occurs when God touches the hearts of new homeowners and the volunteers who work alongside them. Financial contributions will enable us to purchase the materials necessary to make families' dreams of homeownership a reality. Come and collaborate with Habitat for Humanity South Sarasota County as an interfaith community. Bring prayers, your time and your talent to build homes alongside future homeowners. This is an opportunity to embrace these families with prayer.

Your generosity provides some of the building materials for one home, turning walls into rooms where the family spends time together, free from the worry of having to decide between paying exorbitant rent for an overcrowded, sub-standard apartment and feeding their children a nutritious meal. No gift is too small to make a difference.

Your partnership with Habitat for Humanity South Sarasota County includes an opportunity to be a mentor to a Habitat for Humanity Partner Family by celebrating their milestones, encouraging them, and praying for them! We ask that mentors complete Habitat 101, which is 1.5 hours. Your partnership with us includes volunteer opportunities that highlight the work at Habitat for Humanity South Sarasota County.
